5 Reasons You MUST Have A Pinterest Wedding Board!

Pinterest is a wonderful tool. While some people might underestimate it’s ability to inspire, others ( like me) are go Pinterest CRAZY! Fun fact: Almost ALL of my wedding was planned on Pinterest, and as a budget bride- I made a small budget wedding at a Youth Camp look like an enchanted forest. One reason I love pinterest as a photographer, is because it helps ME see YOUR vision!

RAISE YOUR HAND if you had your wedding planned on Pinterest before you were even engaged… Yeah girl, I know. I know.

Here are the 5 Reasons you should totally have a Pinterest board for your wedding:

ONE: It helps you get Inspired!!!

Well duh, Cass. Here’s the thing. As a creative, I LOVE thinking outside the box when it comes to decorations and details in your wedding day. Most of the Pins you add onto your board consist of small details, funny/thoughtful signs, handy DIY tricks, and ideas for the favors that you have always wanted. The beautiful thing about Pinterest is that it starts to recommend ideas related to your recent pins. This way, you can Pin your dream wedding until the cows come home.

TWO: Creates Vision

We all know that we have our dream weddings. BUT! Pinterest allows you to turn your dreams into visions. Being able to visualize your wedding day is something that always made me get butterflies in my tummy. It’s one thing to dream it, it’s another to visualize it!

THREE: Share your vision with ME!

Wedding photography is the one part of your wedding day that you are able to take that dream, and that vision, and DELIVER IT! We all want a wedding that looks like it just came out of a Style Me Pretty catalog. Sharing your vision with ME helps me deliver your own dream to your fingertips.

As I have said before, I am girl that loves structure. I have learned that using pinterest can help you organize your day down to the last detail. Now, don’t get me wrong, no wedding day is ever PERFECTLY organized. But getting organized about the flow of your wedding, the type of music you want at your cocktail hour, or the little getting ready moments before the wedding are what take your day from chaos to bliss in a heartbeat.

This is the final, and absolutely NECESSARY reason for having a Pinterest. Creating a vision for your couple photos, bridesmaids’ photos, first look photos, can all come from the wonderful world of Pinterest. Knowing your vision, helps me DELIVER your vision. I want to capture photos that make you feel those butterflies time, and time again. Creating a Must Have shot list is something that will allow me to see your heart, and your goal behind wedding images.
