Where do we find our hope? In the midst of this chaotic world, Sierra finds her hope in the unshakable love of Jesus. Here is what she has to say:

"For the first half of my life, I was raised by my grandma or mama as I called her. After my parents got married at 13 I thought my normal life was on track, however my greatest lesson throughout my life is that God puts us through seasons. I lost my brother to cancer in high school, and my freshman year of college my boyfriend joined the Navy and I lost my mama. Through all that though, I made my most important relationship: a real one with God. Feeling lost and alone all the time was weighing on me, but really learning about God saved me.

My mama inspired me, she taught me what a strong woman was supposed to look like. She raised me by herself the first 12 years of my life and structured me to be a God and people loving person. My biggest dream is to be a medical professional and an animal rescuer alongside my husband on our farm. Balance in life is my ultimate goal, focusing on what’s important in life while still having a career is hard, but with the right people it’s simple."

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?7 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Matthew 6:25-34

"The situation you’re in now is only temporary. God has planned it all, beginning to end it is written. Today has enough in itself, stop, enjoy the moments, enjoy your people, and even if it may seem unbearable now, tomorrow is a new day" -Sierra Sanders
